Friday - Saturday August 14-15, 2026
Gathering of the Guard -Tremonton, UT

The Gathering of the Guard (GotG) plans are in full swing for the Patriot Guard Riders of Utah. It will be held this year at the Tremonton North Park, located at 100 West, 600 North, Tremonton on Friday and Saturday, August 14-15, 2026.
Any PGR from adjoining states are more than welcome to join us.

This information has been posted on Facebook for some time, but realizing that some don’t use Facebook, we have asked National to send this email out to our members. We apologize for not realizing this sooner. We hope that the delay does not keep you from joining us.

Here’s an update of the events:

Friday, August 14, 2026;
No formal plans for this evening but we have the park bowery all evening to relax and enjoy each other’s company. We are working on arranging light snacks/drinks for this evening.

Saturday, August 15;
8:00 AM: Breakfast. Local grocery stores are donating or discounting items for the breakfast so we can’t yet announce what will be served, but we’re hoping for pancakes, eggs, hash browns, breakfast meat and juice/milk.

10:00 AM: Group ride;
This will be into the afternoon, so come ready to ride/drive. Tentative plans are from Tremonton, highway 89 over Logan Canyon into Garden City/Bear Lake. We will take an hour break for lunch which will be on your own. We will then most likely take highway 89 into Idaho, and 36 over Mink Creek into Preston and back to Tremonton. Again, this is tentative but this ride will be approximately 175 miles and we will be stopping at various veteran monuments/parks along the way. Round trip should be about 5 hours.

THIS WILL BE A TEDDY BEAR RIDE!
Please bring one or more NEW teddy bears or other stuffed animals that can be donated to the local fire and police stations to be given to children that the first responders come in contact with at their calls. The more teddy bears the better. Please come loaded for bear! Teddy bear that is.

5:00 PM: Meet and greet at the park prior to dinner

6:00 PM: Dinner.
This will be a catered dutch oven dinner which promises to be amazing! After dinner we will have a flag retirement as well as a raffle.
Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the event.
If anyone has items to donate that can be put in the raffle, please let us know.

For meal tickets, and to purchase a meal for a veteran if you wish, please visit:
Gathering Of The Guard

Please purchase your tickets early as we need numbers to the caterer no later than August 8.
There will be a limited number of meal tickets available the day of the event,
but we need to have as close to a number as possible.
Any veterans wishing to join us are very welcome, ticket or not.
Please come and let us honor you for your service.

We look forward to getting together again this year, and hope that you will join us.
